Jo Hutchison has worked in theatre marketing for over 20 years and was head of marketing at Dewynters and subsequently head of advertising and marketing worldwide for Mamma Mia! and senior account handler for other West End and international productions including the UK première of Wicked and Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol. After six years and having opened Mamma Mia! in over 25 countries, Jo left Dewynters to set up JHI in November 2009 and was joined by Natalie Yalden.

The JHI team has now grown to 6 with Liz McGinity and Nicole Samuels joining in 2012 and Fiona Somerville and Milo Spence joining in 2013.
Natalie has been passionate about the Arts and theatre in particular since she was young hence her decision to study Drama and Theatre Studies
at University of Aberystwyth. She graduated in July 2006 to pursue a career within the arts. After a month’s work experience at
Treagus Stoneman Associates where she worked on the West End opening of Jersey Boys, she was offered a maternity
cover position as Office Coordinator in the Costume and Wigs department at the Royal Opera House. From there she went on
to be the PA to the Director of Finance at the Royal Albert Hall as well as looking after the Chief Executive in the
absence of his PA.
Natalie decided to take the leap and pursue a career in arts marketing and left the Royal Albert Hall in order to take up a 3 month voluntary
internship in the Promotions and Marketing department at Adam Kenwright Associates.
Whilst there she was introduced to Jo by a mutual acquaintance, Jo had just set up JHI and was looking for someone to join
her in the office. Natalie came to work at JHI in January 2010 and has since then, greatly enjoyed worked alongside Jo on all client accounts
forming strong relationships with each of them.
In September 2010 Natalie was selected to be one of just 23 participants from across the UK in the Theatrical Management Association's week
long course 'The Essentials of Marketing' held at Druidstone in Wales.
Liz graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Communication Studies with Law.
Prior to joining JHI in February 2012, Liz was the marketing manager for Disney Theatrical Group, marketing the Disney Theatrical productions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She had previously worked at Littlestar Services Limited for 7 years where she was the marketing and communications co-ordinator for the worldwide stage productions of Mamma Mia! as well as the film and DVD.
Her freelance projects include managing the online resource centre for War Horse and marketing a chain of restaurants and bars.
Matt studied Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Kent. His passion for marketing flourished during his Masters, as he created a
business plan for a new arts company. He went on to achieve with distinction in MA Creative Producing.
Matt followed this with a string of voluntary work. He secured an internship with marketing and event specialists Amelix Ltd,
lead a promotions team at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and helped to develop innovative marketing directions of London Speech Workshop.
Arriving at JHI in 2010, Matt has built strong relationships with various clients and through B2B communication. His interests include
campaign management, creative design and digital marketing. He also provides solid administrative support.
